Holiday show at Gather

There really is a new show at Gather, but alas the owner of Gather is to busy to change the information on the website.

Check out the pics of the show on Flickr.

The Holiday show will run through the 31st of December.

Halloween Fun

Jeremy Bert's A to Z show was the perfect installation for Halloween 2008.
We must have seen at least 200 trick-o-treaters at Gather, most of which we got pictures of next to their favorite letter.
All pictures from Halloween are posted on FLICKR.
Here are a few of my favorites.

BREAD FEATHERS - AHEAD OF THEIR TIME

BREAD FEATHER's
by Bennett McKnight
$35

The current installation at GATHER has been up since July 23rd
only recently have I been struck by the fact that
THE BREAD FEATHERS
so casually created and hung by artist
BENNETT MCKNIGHT
are SO AHEAD of THEIR TIME.
after realizing what silent treasures I have had hanging on the wall
I felt panic,
what if
THE BREAD FEATHERS
had come and gone and I had never realized
THEIR BRILLIANCE

GATHER art inspires customers

Recently a customer purchased 4 Levi Belber blown glass pint glasses for a wedding gift.
He decided to add to the heirloom quality of the glasses by constructing a hand made wooden box. He created this box with reclaimed cedar fencing...
check out this beautiful gift box and glass set.

A second customer sent me this picture of his stylish JBJE nesting bowl set.

Thanks for sharing.
